Stormy Patter Continues, Severe Wx Possible Again

Good morning, Cardinal Country! It is going to be another pleasant day today ahead with forecasted high temperature of 74 degrees with partly sunny skies. Enjoy the day as much as you can as we do expect to see another round of storms, some of which could be on the strong to severe side. Main threat for the Muncie area is damaging winds and isolated large hail.

The following two images above shows that Muncie has 5% chance of seeing damaging winds and large hail, hence why we are in the marginal risk for strong to severe storms. After the storms pass through the Muncie area, temperatures will drop drastically as our forecasted high on Friday is 57 degrees.

This map above shows the cold front around the Muncie area between 1am and 4am for Friday morning. With that cold front passing on by with the surface low pressure moving, the colder air will continue to advance and give us a much more cooler but much nicer day ahead for Friday.

Stay weather aware through the overnight hours, but enjoy the nice 74 degrees that we have today as 57 on Friday will feel like we are in the 40’s. Have a wonderful day Cardinal Country!
