Afternoon Forecast 4/15/2024: The streak of 70s will continue.

Good late-morning! As of 11 AM, Muncie is sitting at 63º with sunny/mostly sunny skies and winds out of the northeast at 10 mph. Humidity is at 63%.

As we enter the afternoon, temperatures will continue to rise under they nice and sunny skies. The only clouds around will likely be upper-level clouds. I won’t be quite as warm as yesterday, but the high temp will be lovely, in the mid-70s, with 76º for our high temperature.
Mesoanalysis provided by the SPC shows a surface ridge (area of elongated high pressure) through the NW Great Lakes, extending over us, which is the source for our dry weather and sunny skies today.
Winds throughout the day will be blowing out of the northeast around 5-10 mph. Certainly not as breezy as yesterday. A great day to go out to the golf course!

The dry conditions only stick around for today as rain and storm chances return Tuesday and Wednesday, so we will have more updates as that system pushes off the Rocky mountains today.
