5-Day Forecast 3/31/2024: Rain/storms Monday, Tuesday

The wet pattern continues for a few days, and then we look to finally dry out as we end the workweek.

Monday: Showers and storms throughout the afternoon. Some may be strong to severe, with a slight risk (level 2 of 5) in effect for severe storms. We are tracking the potential for large hail and damaging winds as the main threats, however trends will be monitored throughout the day for any surface-based (and therefore tornadic with the environmental conditions) potential with these storms. Highs in the upper 50s.

Tuesday: Cloudy with rain showers in the morning, then more in the afternoon/evening with a couple rumbles of thunder possible. Highs in the mid-50s.

Wednesday: Winter make a return. Lake-effect rain/snow showers blow off of Lake Michigan throughout the day. Temperatures in the ground and air do not support any accumulating concerns. Highs in the upper 30s.

Thursday: Partly cloudy with a slight rain/snow chance in the morning. A little warmer with highs in the mid-40s.

Friday: Partly cloudy with highs in the upper 40s.
