Afternoon Forecast/Discussion 3/23/24: Quiet and chilly start to the weekend

It certainly has been chilly outside. 3PM temps in Muncie were still below 40º, with temps finally reaching that mark by 4PM just a few minutes ago. I’d consider this some light winter coat weather for sure. There have been some breezy moments today, and those will continue before sunset. Winds out of the north will keep us cool with sustained winds ranging from 5-15 mph, with some gusts up to 20-25 mph possible this afternoon.

The saving grace today has been the sunshine today, and even though a few clouds are around for now, the mostly sunny to partly sunny skies will stick around for the rest of the day.
