5-Day Forecast, 3/01-3/05: Leaping for Warmer Conditions and for Spring Break!

Good Midday & Happy Leap Day! Hoping this extra day (and sunshine) is giving you an extra boost! We’re leaping into a weekend/Spring Break where the return of temperatures I’d like to call the “Groovy Seventies” will be a possibility, especially for some of us Monday and even most of us Tuesday! We start out on the chillier side today but are starting a turnaround after a quick wave of lower pressure brings the chance (a rather slight one, mind you) for showers during the afternoon/evening timeframe. Behind that, high pressure builds in from the nation’s midsection and moves eastwards, bringing breezier and warmer conditions on its western side as the peak of that high passes by Saturday into Sunday. In between that and a system behind a chance of showers & storms ahead of a cold front, SW winds will sharpen up, and under clearing skies, some impressive warming will take place! Look for highs climbing to near 60 on Saturday then close to or eclipsing the 70° mark Sunday into Monday before that next cold front runs through into your Tuesday. Stay awesome, and hopefully, this forecast will give you warm thoughts today, Cardinal Country!
