Taking a big look at today, we have a storm system that will push through the southwest, bringing heavy rain and flooding. States like California have a Flood Watch, Beach Hazards, and Winter Storm Warning active. There are Winter Storm Warning and Winter Weather Advisory in Arizona, with mixed precipitation and snow falling throughout the day. The same can be said up north, there is an area of low pressure in Montana and the Dakotas with freezing rain chances, mixed precipitation, and rain. Winter weather alerts have also been sent.
In the Midwest, conditions are clear because of the high pressure that surrounds. This brings sunny conditions that is much needed after all the difficult winter related conditions.
Here in Muncie, as mentioned before, there is a high pressure over us that bring the sunshine we see today. Temperatures will reach low 50’s and calm wind moving 5-9 mph.
