Rainy Weather Continues with Mild Temperatures and a Side of Fog

Good afternoon, Cardinal Country! The rainy weather with mild temperatures will continue throughout the afternoon hours and into the evening. Rain will mostly likely be patchy in nature, but light enough to have an accumulation nearing a tenth of an inch. Fog is also going to be spotty in nature, especially prior to 4pm this afternoon as the temperature and dew point will be near, if not, the same. Today’s high temperature will be around 50 degrees with wind coming from the south around 10mph. Tonight, we could see dense fog to come back, especially after 8pm, which will make travel treacherous for those that plan to be on the road. Rain chances are still there, but not as likely as it is this morning, with the chance around 40%. Wind will still come from the south, but from about 5 to 10mph. Low temperature will hover around 50 degrees, which is mostly due to the cloud cover that we have over us. Stay dry and drive carefully this evening if you do make plans to travel this evening. Dense fog is a hazard for road traveling, with reduced visibility increasing the chance of travel related-accidents.
