The overnight freezing rain has caused some travel issues across Delaware County this morning. Luckily, as temps climb for the rest of this morning, those freezing rain chances will be no more.
A look at the 8:40 AM Indianapolis radar loop shows more rain on the way. All the pink on the radar is freezing rain mixing in, but we won’t have to worry about that for the remainder of the morning. Muncie temps as of 9AM are in the mid-30s. We climb slowly in temps throughout the remainder of the morning. Overcast skies will rule the rest of the morning.
Ball State should see temps in the upper 30s by lunchtime with rain showers continuing all morning. There will be some foggy moments as well, especially as we get into the afternoon. Rain chances decrease and become more scattered into the afternoon, where we look to reach highs in the lower 40s. There may be a few breezy moments as well, as winds teeter from the south, with a few gusts up to 25 mph possible.
While is will be rainy and overcast, at least we aren’t looking at negative temps overnight anymore!
