Good afternoon, Cardinals!
Hopefully, we are staying dry this afternoon. This rain is expected to lighten and may continue throughout the day, with a daily total of ¼ of an inch possible. By mid-afternoon, rain chances will decrease to a 30% probability, and will likely stop later tonight. During this time, some areas may experience patchy fog that could potentially cause visibility issues.
The current temperature in Muncie has risen to 39 F from this morning and will continue to rise into the low 40s later today, with a high of 42 F. This may not seem too warm, but we are finally breaking away from the sub-freezing temperatures of last week. Although with wind speeds of 14 mph and gusts up to 22 mph paired with the rain, it may feel colder.
