Dense fog and rain tonight

These warmer temperatures are definitely a nice relief from last week’s arctic trend! We are currently at 41 degrees with overcast skies. The low will be around 38 degrees this evening, which is the warmest low we’ve had in weeks! Although the air temperature is warmer, the ground temperatures will stay cool due to lingering snow. This mix is expected to result in dense fog tonight.

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for central Indiana that will last from 5pm until 10am tomorrow. If you’re driving home from work tonight, be extra careful because visibility will be as low as a quarter mile in some areas. Rain is likely to begin around midnight, lasting until Thursday night. Make sure to stay updated with local weather to see how this will effect your area!
