Tornado season in North America has its peak from April through June, which for Missouri is right on point to the past weekend events. Even from the image above St. Louis has its tornado season in April (Or even May).

More and more we are hearing more severe weather events all over the country and it is causing panic among citizens in not knowing when warnings are being sent out and how to adapt after if they experience the damage from storms and such.

Ways to check for warnings and what to do to prepare:

  • Check weather app notifications
  • Go to the National Weather Service website
  • Go to Ready.gov
