Hello, Cardinal Country & a very blessed Good Friday to those who observe the solemn and meaningful day! We do see a pretty good Friday in store for us (albeit with a chilly start with those 30s this AM) with temperatures rising into the middle 50s under mostly sunny skies and light winds. As we work through the weekend, the winds will gradually shift from out of the north to east over the weekend, and along with a high-pressure system working in, that will cut down on the chilly feel in the daylight hours as the sun (now at a higher angle) works to better warm things up (which is certainly helpful even today since we did not get into the 50s until late yesterday & it’s already 47° out as of 11 AM today – it was 43° at that same time yesterday!). As that high continues to build and winds start their turn toward a more southerly direction, we should get some decent & even above-average temperatures, especially for those Easter festivities on Sunday, with highs in the mid-upper 60s. Long-term temperature trends also look delightful as well as the sky conditions through the next 5 days and beyond, and there could be a shot at hitting what I call the “eggcellent 80s” in the second half of next week! Something to be “hoppy” for this Easter Weekend, yes?
