Good evening Muncie Community! Today has been a cloudy and rainy day for our viewing area. Currently, it is misting with winds East of 12 mph with a temperature of 41. The high temperature will reach 43 degrees. Alerts by the National Weather Service is a Flood Watch for our viewing area now until 8 am tomorrow. We could see total rainfall amounts of 2″-4″. Turn around and don’t drown if you are traveling out and about this weekend with the excessive rainfall. As well starting tomorrow we will be under a wind advisory 4 am- 5 pm Saturday. Southwest winds 20-30mph and gusts up to 45mph are expected.
Tonight’s forecast is rain and possibly a thunderstorm between 4 am and the early morning hours. As Eurythmics would say, “Here comes the Rain Again”. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Temperature rising to around 45 to start your early morning hour. East wind 14 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. The chance of precipitation is 96%.
