After a spring-like day here in Muncie, rain chances are expected to quickly return by this evening as the next system does look to arrive and bring with it the potential for rain by the evening hours. Right now, temperatures are at 57 degrees with winds coming out of the south at 16 mph along with gusts up to 28 mph. Rain is expected to become likely by late this evening as a cold front does begin to approach will be responsible for dropping temperatures back to below average levels by tomorrow. Winds are expected to turn gusty at times with winds gusts possibly reaching 35 mph at times with 25 mph winds outside of those gusts. If you are going to be heading out this evening, make sure that you have your umbrella handy with you.
