Goooood Midday, Cardinal Country! We start off our 5-day really nicely with us flirting with the 60s, but the increasing SW winds (which could be quite strong with gusts around or possibly over 40 mph tonight through tomorrow evening) and clouds will herald an approaching storm system. Rain showers develop overnight into tomorrow morning and a front will bring a noticeable drop in temperatures ( from around 45 in the morning to the mid-to-upper 30s by the afternoon). There is a chance of flurries early to midday Saturday with a secondary impulse of upper-level energy behind our system, with chilly (and yet again, windy) conditions with more possibilities for some 40 mph gusts, especially with those flurries. But, as is the theme for this forecast & lately our weather here in Indiana, we start the climb back up & we may be talking 50s (and 60s(!)) by the middle of next week! A truly Midwestern forecast, yes?
