Midday/Afternoon Forecast Update 2/3/2023 – It’s a “Frozen Jack Nicholson from The Shining” Sort of Day

A proper wintry day with upper teens to lower 20s and blustery conditions

Good Afternoon, fellow Cardinal human beans! Today’s continuing to look like a hot cocoa by the fireplace sort of day with temps struggling to go too far into the lower 20s. The breezy conditions and the clouds trying to get in the way of the sun doing its thing won’t necessarily be helpful for staying warm out there this afternoon, either, so it’s definitely a day to keep the heavy coat/layers handy alongside the hat and gloves. We even have had some flurries & snow showers work through the area earlier, but as upper-level energy on the west side of the low that caused our temperatures to take that tumble last night into this AM will be pulling away, so we’ll be able to lessen the possibility for those and perhaps get some more breaks into this overcast that’s trying to hide that sun. Fly warm and safe, Cardinals, have a phenomenal Friday, and have an even better weekend ahead!
