Good afternoon everyone! We are sitting at 29 degrees right now and temperatures will start to drop as we move into the evening. It is breezy out there with wind gusts up to 30 mph, so bundle up before you go out today. Snow will continue on and off throughout the day. Accumulation will not be too much, only about an inch. Chances for snow decrease as we move into tonight.
On a synoptic level, we are not seeing much activity right now. We are experiencing these leftover showers from the cold front from yesterday. The colder temperatures today will keep the precipitation as snow. Be sure to stay cautious as you are driving or walking today. Even though we will not be seeing a lot of accumulation, roads and areas may still become slippery.
