Good morning! The temperature in Muncie was reported to be at 61 degrees. We’ve had overcast skies, and off and and on rain showers throughout this morning after the weak thunderstorms moved through very early this morning. Be sure to bring a jacket to a location you go to for the chance that it does rain again, which is likely. There is at least a 60% chance for precipitation before 1 PM today, and then decreasing afterwards.
This is all being influenced by a cold front. As this cold front pushes east, we could see more chances for rain and maybe another weak thunderstorm. When the cold front passes, we will see temperatures drop throughout the day. Ironically, the temperature right now may actually be our high temperature for the day. As depressing as these clouds may be, it’ll be warmer right now than it will be later today.
