Good morning to everyone out there! A gloomy start to the end of the work/school week outside. As of 9am it was 42°F under a cloudy sky, however there was a stray raindrop that was being felt here on the Campus of Ball State University, so we can throw in drizzle in our current conditions. The wind was out of the west at 12 mph, producing a wind chill of 35°F. Temperatures will stay put at where we are at for much if not all day today in the low 40’s with some fluctuation in temperature if more significant rain were to fall today, cooling the temperatures down slightly for a short period of time. The chances of measurable will increase as the day goes on today, regardless patchy drizzle is expected today. It will be a raw, windy day today as well as winds could gust as high as 25 mph in the morning hours and as high as 35 mph in the evening hours. This could see wind chill values drop into the mid 20’s this afternoon and evening so make sure to bundle up out there despite the temperatures staying in the low 40’s for much of the day today.
