Good morning! The current temperature at Ball State is 44 degrees. The breezy winds have created somewhat of a wind chill in the area. It feels like 39 degrees. Winds are out of the south at 10 mph. We are warm due to the southerly winds bringing in moisture and warmth from the Gulf of Mexico. Conditions are expected to be mostly sunny today with a high near 60 degrees, which is not unheard of for February, but certainly not a common event. Wind chills will be present due to breezy winds, but it will not be enough to create any issues.
Today will follow a general warming pattern until Wednesday. So instead of grabbing those winter coats, grab those spring clothes, because winter won’t be present until Wednesday. One things to keep an eye on would be overnight tonight with the chance for rain through midnight, which is why there is a 20% chance through rain.
