Snow has been falling all morning and is expected to keep falling until around noon. There is currently a hazardous weather outlook for our area which is linked below. However if you don’t feel like reading all of it, here is a summary. There is a chance that rain will mix in with the snow as the day continues, due to a slight increase possible in temperature. Temperatures are expected to reach 33 degrees around 4pm today, hence the small chance of mixed precipitation. The snowfall is expected to be pretty light, up to around an inch, today from here in Muncie and all the way up to Kokomo. Roads and sidewalks may be slick due to this snow so be careful when travelling.
Hopefully Ball State students are bundled up today while heading to classes with temperature currently being around 23 degrees with a wind chill of 14 degrees, and some should keep an eye out for some snow ducks hidden around on campus. Enjoy this wonderful winter day and expect more actual winter-like days in the future.
