It has been a damp and rainy morning across the area. However, as we head into this afternoon, we are expecting to have a break from the rain before we do get some more this evening. Temperatures will gradually rise into the lower 50s by mid afternoon and are expected to remain nearly steady throughout the afternoon too. Winds will be coming out of the northeast at 10 mph with gusts up to 18 mph at times. Skies will remain cloudy throughout the afternoon with some possible drizzle falling at times. As you head out, you are definitely going to need a sweater and maybe an umbrella in case of any drizzle or light rain.
