Is this weekend potentially the last round up 80°+ temperatures? Maybe so.
If it is, this would definitely be the weekend to get out and enjoy it! High temperatures will get up into the 80s, and low temperatures get into the lower 60s. Mainly sunny skies all weekend, and we should be clear of rain until later in the evening on Sunday.

After this weekend, we will see a big change in temperatures and conditions from what we have been blessed with over the past few weeks. High temps later next week only reach into the upper 60s or lower 70s, if that. Much needed rain chances are highest on Monday and Tuesday, with much cloudier conditions those days as well.
Below is the 6-10 Day Temperature Outlook from the Climate Prediction Center. This indicates which areas of the country can expect above average or below average temperatures from September 30th – October 4th. As you can tell, we are in for a HUGE difference from what we have been experiencing the last few weeks. This graphic also shows bad news for those in the Pacific Northwest who are still struggling with wildfires, as they will see much warmer and drier conditions than normal.

So, if you’re looking forward to sweater weather, just hang on through the rest of this weekend! And if you’re wanting this summer to last forever, you will want to get out and enjoy this last blast of heat as much as you can!
