It has been another picture perfect day out there today weather wise today. Morning clouds gave way to sunny skies and a very dry day. Our high as of 4pm was 80°F in Muncie. It didn’t feel like 80°F today, the heat index which is usually used to factor in humidity to make it feel warmer than it is has actually been lower for much of today with heat index 79°F. Humidity is so low that it feels cooler than it actually is outside, not by much but normally only the areas in the Great Plains and the deserts of the Southwest sees this low humidity and heat indexes.
Mainly clear skies will continue to dominate the weather for tonight, tomorrow with temperatures dropping into the low 50s with maybe a slight breeze, probably so slight that it will not even be noticeable tonight. The dry air mass that has been dominating our weather pattern for the next couple of weeks will continue to stay for tomorrow into the early part of the weekend but expect some slightly unsettled weather later on this weekend.
