Go out and enjoy today, because after that, we’re going to see lots of rain showers next week.
Monday and Tuesday will be mostly cloudy out, with highs in the low-50s. A chance of rain showers exists, as a small rain system moves in during Monday night and Tuesday morning. Make sure to keep an umbrella with you for Monday night.
After that, on Wednesday, we’ll see an increased chance for rain, as another rain system moves in during the evening hours.
An atmospheric setup over the Midwest will result in a low-pressure system moving in and bringing lots of rain showers, and even a thunderstorm or two, into Muncie and central Indiana on Thursday afternoon and evening. Highs in the mid-60s could provide an energy boost needed for some thunderstorms, so make sure to be safe for Thursday. We’ll keep you updated on those thunderstorm chances.
After Thursday, Friday will see more rain, mainly durin ghte morning and afternoon. Thereafter, expect temperatures to drop from the 60s down to the mid-30s, as a cold front moves in.
In short, make sure to keep a rain jacket or umbrella near you for the week.
