Good morning! The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our area! The advisory goes into effect at 1 P.M. today and remains in effect through 1 P.M. tomorrow afternoon.
Snow is going to be the main hazard for us, with 2-3 inches of accumulation looking likely at this time. Unlike last week’s storm, this moves in around 3 P.M this afternoon, meaning it will likely have impacts on the bus ride home for kids, as well as the evening commute, as moderate snowfall reduces visibility and roads become slushy and potentially slick. This sticks around through the evening commute and into tomorrow, with lighter snow showers and flurries staying with us through tomorrow afternoon. Some slick spots, especially on untreated roads, are possible for the morning commute tomorrow, as temperatures drop behind this system!
