This comes as a low-pressure system moves in and provides moisture and warm air for Indiana, making storms more likely. Temperatures will jump to the low-80s by noon, and then reach the upper-80s by the late-afternoon hours, with the heat index feeling close to 100. Storms will likely start coming in after 2 pm, with some producing high winds and heavy rain, which is why the SPC has us under a marginal risk for severe weather.
