Isolated thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and evening as we finally get rid of the remnants of Hurricane Barry. Pop-ups are currently forming on the northern edge of the area, near Marion. These storms will move to the south slowly as the evening progresses. Temperatures across the area will be in the upper 80s, with heat indices approaching 100 degrees at times this evening. Winds, unfortunately, will provide little relief as they remain calm.
