These next five days will involve lots of heat and rain, as a few low-pressure systems, including remnants of a tropical storm from the Gulf of Mexico, bring lots of moisture to the area. Tuesday and Wednesday will likely see the worst of the rain, as that low moves through and induces some thunderstorms. Some of these thunderstorms might produce heavy rain, so we’ll definitely watch for those. After the first three days, Thursday and Friday will likely see lower rain chances, replaced with partly sunny skies. In exchange, however, we might see temperatures in the upper-80s and low-90s for those days. With humidity added, it might feel like we’re in the mid-90s and higher. In short, definitely make sure to have an umbrella and extra water near you next week.
