This afternoon was completely different from Independence Day, as low-pressure systems north of Indiana resulted in showers and thunderstorms moving through this afternoon. These rain showers might continue into the evening, with most of the rain going away after 5 pm but possible showers popping up even after 8 pm. These same showers will also lead to lower-than-yesterday temperatures, as by 5 pm, we’ll be in the mid-70s. Temperatures will mostly stay the same between 5 and 11 pm, with skies remaining cloudy as well. In summary, make sure to take an umbrella as you head out this evening, and enjoy the cool temperatures.
