We’ll have a very warm morning today, as high-pressure systems in the south continue pumping warm air into Indiana. We’ll reach a temperature of 80 by 10 am, jumping to the mid-80s by 12 pm. Skies will remain mostly clear, and winds will remain light all morning. By the afternoon, we expect heat indexes in the low-90s, with a slight chance for pop-up showers in the late-afternoon hours. Otherwise, skies will remain mostly clear. In short, the big story for today is heat, so make sure to take extra water and wear lighter clothes as you head out today.
