Sunny weather is just around the corner, but the road leading to sunny weather will be bumpy. The low-pressure system that brought rain to southern Indiana this morning will continue pushing more storms, some of them producing heavy rain and wind, into Indiana tomorrow evening, which is why we’re under a marginal risk tomorrow. Monday will also involve a marginal risk for severe weather, as that same surface low moves through Indiana and produces afternoon storms. After that, we’ll see sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-80s for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, as high-pressure systems move across the Midwest. In short, make sure to take an umbrella and drive safely for Sunday and Monday, and make sure to enjoy the sunshine after that.
