Batch of Storms for Tonight, Flooding Possible

Tonight will be a risky night to go out, as a line of storms, fueled by the stationary front moving through Indiana, marches through Central Indiana. These storms will likely continue until after 8 pm, although pop-up showers and isolated storms will likely continue even after 11 pm. Many of these storms are slow-moving and could bring damaging gusts and lots of rain. Combined with wet ground due to heavy rain from the past few days, we might see more flooding problems. This is why we’re under a Flash Flood Watch until 8 pm tomorrow (June 20). Combined with temperatures remaining above 70 even after 11 pm tonight, light winds outside of storms, and high humidity, it will also feel icky outside. In short, make sure that if you have to go out, make sure to take some rain gear, drive safely, and avoid flooded areas.
