This afternoon will be warm and sunny, as a high-pressure system moves into the viewing area. Right now, we’re in the mid-70s, with sunny skies and very light winds. Over the next few hours, temperatures will rise, reaching 80 after 3 pm. Winds will be very light, coming in at 3 to 6 mph. Skies will remain sunny all afternoon, and thanks to the high-pressure system that is moving towards Indiana now, rain showers are very unlikely. In short, this is definitely a good time to go out and enjoy the sunshine.
