Today will be a wet, rainy day as a low-pressure system in the south creates the potential for rain showers today. Earlier this morning, rain showers took place across much of Indiana. Most of the rain is gone from the viewing area now, but cloudy skies still hang over the area, and they’ll continue to do so this morning. Additionally, we should see temperatures in the low-70s by 10 am, jumping to the mid-70s by noon. Pop-up showers are possible this morning, so make sure to take an umbrella this morning. As for the rest of the day, most of the potential rain showers will take place in the late-afternoon to evening hours, so make sure to take some rain gear and drive safely as you head out today.
