Right now, it’s gorgeous in the viewing area, as the line of showers that hit Muncie early this morning is gone. Temperatures are in the low-70s, with partly sunny skies and SW winds of 10-15 mph. Temperatures will continue to rise throughout the afternoon, with us reaching our high of 77 after three pm, with skies still remaining partly clear. However, the SPC still has us under a marginal risk for severe weather, as by evening hours, pop-up showers and isolated thunderstorms might begin to form in Central Indiana. In short, this afternoon will be the perfect opportunity to finish any plans for the day, so make sure to go outside while you can.
