Hot, Potentially Rainy Evening

Right now, it’s a very hot May day, as the temperature is in the upper-80s, with partly sunny skies and breezy southwesterly winds of 10-15 mph. These conditions will continue into the late-evening hours, with temperatures still remaining in the low-80s by 8 pm, before dropping to the low-70s overnight. The other story is rain, as isolated storms might pop-up near our viewing area after 5 pm. Areas in Northern Indiana are already experiencing heavy showers, and as the cold front continues moving eastward, heavy showers might form near Muncie as well. Showers and isolated storms might also hit Muncie in the overnight hours. So, as you head home this evening, make sure to carry some rain gear, stay hydrated, and drive safely.
