Today is going to be as hot as yesterday, as we expect temperatures to continue rising today. Right now, temperatures are in the mid-80s, with breezy southwesterly winds coming in at 10 to 15 mph, and they’ll stay that way for the rest of the afternoon. We’ll likely reach our high of 85 in the mid-afternoon hours, with skies still clear until late-afternoon/early-evening hours. Now, the possibility exists for pop-up showers and thunderstorms to start coming in in the late-afternoon hours, as a cold front pushes in throughout the day, with these showers sticking around until the early evening hours. So, in summary, just make sure to take an umbrella and some extra water with you and enjoy the afternoon.
