The drive home will feel a bit like Fall, thanks to temperatures in the 50s and breezy easterly winds. These conditions will persist throughout the evening, with temperatures in the mid-50s, cloudy skies, and easterly winds of 10-15 mph. Combined with gusts of 25 mph, it’s a good idea to tie down loose objects and wear a light jacket as you head out this evening.
Scattered showers are also possible, particularly between 5 and 8 PM, as a line of rainstorms passes through parts of Central Indiana. And another system is expected to bring more rain showers and breezy conditions into Indiana overnight, so, again, make sure to tie down any loose objects and drive safely if you’re heading out overnight.
