Seeing a little bit of everything this morning. We’re currently in a break from the rain that occurred earlier this morning. As the morning progresses, the chance for a scattered thunderstorm increases before the main threat of heavy rain returns for the afternoon, evening, and overnight hours. Temperatures will be increasing into the upper 60’s before they drop down, as we will see a cooling trend over the next few days. Today will be very windy as the system bringing all this rain progresses through the area. Be sure to pack your umbrella because, while you may not need it much this morning, you will most definitely need it for your commute this evening.
We are currently under a Flood Watch until 11am tomorrow so beware of localized flooding. If you see flooded roadways, remember the phrase “turn around, don’t drown,” as you never know how deep the water actually is. Be sure to take caution today.
