Good Afternoon! Today goes to show you how good a southwesterly wind helps out your temperatures compared to a northern wind in April. A high pressure which is centered over the southern Appalachian Mountains is bringing in nice southernly flow. Combine that with a small low pressure to the west bringing in a warm front, a nice warm airmass is going to settle in. This will last several days until a cold front brings cooler weather a chance for some storms Thursday night into Friday. There is a possibility that some storms maybe severe.
