Today looks to be another soggy one here in Muncie. Areas of dense fog earlier this morning gave way to steady rain that will likely last throughout much of the day. The potential for a thunderstorm cannot be ruled out, especially later in the day. We are currently under a Flood Watch, meaning that with the current forecasted rainfall, localized flooding is possible, especially in low lying areas and areas along the White River. Low lying roads may also be affected so be wary of standing water. Make sure you have your rain boots on and your jacket/umbrella at the ready because you’re definitely going to need it today. Looking ahead, once the rain passes through, we are expecting a big cool down and clearing of our skies. But for today, stay as dry as you can out there!
