It is still bitterly cold out here this morning in Muncie. The Wind Chill Warning is still in effect until 1pm this afternoon. The temperatures will slowly rise throughout the day and we will break the 0° mark by noon. Clouds will begin to increase throughout the day as a new system will move into the area bringing accumulating snowfall to the area. We will finally see a break from the unbearable cold we’ve seen the past few days. Even potentially seeing a significant warm up through the weekend. Right now, it is still very cold outside so precautions should be taken and you should still bundle up with a few extra layers this morning. Stay safe and warm. And if you’re a Ball State student, enjoy the couple of hours to sleep in as classes don’t resume until 11am this morning.
