Rain continues to move into the area ahead of a warm front. Rain will continue through morning and the early afternoon as well. Once the warm front lifts to the north, rain will become much more scattered in nature, and a rumble of thunder is possible. If additional clearing moves into the area this afternoon, destabilizing the atmosphere, a stray severe thunderstorm is possible. The warm front will allow temperatures to rise to around 56 degrees, which is over 10 degrees above average!
Tomorrow looks to be dry for the most part, but a few showers ahead of an advancing cold front are possible. Temperatures will remain in the 50’s and winds will be on the increase, with gusts over 30 mph possible. Next week, temperatures will fall back down into the 30’s, with a wintry mix possible on Monday.
