When you woke up this morning it was in the lower 20’s with some mild winds that made it fell like it was in the teens. However we do have a warm-up on the way with possible storms. Today we will have a high temperature of 29 with winds ranging from 5-10 out of WSW. We are tracking a low pressure system that will be tracking from the south for Saturday and will be pushing up towards Indiana that will give us temperatures in the mid 50’s and possible 60’s with rain and some storms could be present. The dynamics are favoring some heavy downpours and possible gusty winds. The Low level Jet will be in play if the system does travel more north and then we could get some wind shear that will favorite some stronger storms. So make sure you keep your weather radio handy and checking in at Cardinal Weather Service twitter for updates on the incoming system.
