Happy Friday Cardinals! This weekend we are looking at another winter system moving through the area.
The rest of this afternoon and evening, clouds will remain present over the are with temperatures slowly dropping into the evening. Overnight tonight we will be seeing temperatures drop just below the freezing mark, down to about 30. Skies will be mostly cloudy overnight as well. Tomorrow, the high will get up to about 40 degrees, a little warmer than we have been seeing recently, will mostly cloudy skies, and a chance for an afternoon rain shower or two. Overnight on Saturday night, the temps will drop to 30 once again for the low, and we have a slight chance of some rain/snow mix, transitioning over to snow as the temperatures continue to drop overnight. Then on Sunday is where the majority of our precipitation chances will be. We are looking at about a 40-50% chance of rain/snow mix throughout the morning hours. Then we could see just rain in the afternoon, and back to snow in the later evening. The precip that falls is very temperature dependent, so that will be a key factor into seeing what actually falls from the sky on Sunday. If you are going to be out and about on Sunday, be cautious while driving, as roads will become slick regardless of whether we get rain or snow.
Be sure to enjoy your nice Saturday before the snow chances on Sunday!
