Happy Monday everyone!
After a damp, cool, and windy weekend it is expected to clear out and lead to a day or two of above average temperatures with plenty of sunshine before the next storm system begins to effect the region. Ridging will begin to build in over the Plains and Great Lakes region as the upper level trough associated with the weekend’s clipper system exits to the northeast. This will allow for a south-southwesterly flow to develop and return much of the area to warmer-than-average temperatures for the beginning of the work week. Monday and Tuesday will remain dry as a surface high pressure settles into the area.
