The remnants of tropical storm Gordon are moving into the area today and tomorrow. With this we will see very heavy rainfall. Today we could see another 2-3 inches of rain on top of what we already saw yesterday. This will create dangerous conditions as flash flooding occurred yesterday and the ground is already damp, so any additional heavy rain fall amounts will bring more flooding to the area.
With this being said, we are under a Flash Flood Watch from this morning to tomorrow evening. The rain will bring dangerous conditions to the area so be sure to be careful if you have plans this weekend.
After this system moves through conditions will clear out and temperatures will begin to rise. Today temperatures will struggle to make it out of the mid-60s. Winds will also be breezy from the NE at 10-15 mph. These temperatures will remain in place for tomorrow before we warm up again for next week.
