A cold front is quickly approaching from the west. Currently situated in Iowa, the low is expecting to bring with it, cooler weather, and a good amount of rain (anywhere between 2 to 5 inches) through the weekend. Tonight, the rain should begin. Temperatures this afternoon should reach the low 90’s for the last time in Muncie for at least the next 10 days. Temperatures behind the cold front may not even make it out of the 70s until midway through next week.
Tropical Storm Gordon has made landfall on the Mississippi coast, bringing with it that high chance for rain this weekend, as well as some gusty winds. Upon the passage of the remnants, of the tropical cyclone, Muncie should experience some pleasant weather with temperatures remaining in the low 80’s and high 70’s.
