Hot Temperatures return for the beginning of September

High pressure is dominating the area will continue to over the next few days. As the high pressure is in place temperatures will soar to the upper 80s to 90 degrees and will last for the next several. Along with the hot temperatures will be dew points in the low-70s which will make it feel muggy and uncomfortable outside.  Be sure to drink plenty of water over your Labor Day weekend if you plan to be outside. These hot conditions will be in place for through early next week.

The next possibility of showers and storms will come Sunday night. I do not expect these to be widespread or severe, but your rain gear ready if you plan to be outside of the holiday weekend.

Also we look towards late next week, high pressure looks to continue to dominate and temperatures will remain hot across the area.
